Tank Must Vermeil Large

Cartier Tank Must Vermeil with ivory dial and roman numerals. In 1977 Cartier introduced their icon in the "Must de Cartier" series. Instead of a golden case, the case of the watch was made of sterling silver, with a layer of 18 carat gold (the French call this Vermeil). Since silver is a very soft metal and so is gold, the case will get some scratches easily and after many many years the goldplating might wear off. This pretty vintage piece is in its original goldplating (!) Sure it has some minor very very tiny little scratches, not visible with the naked eye. This watch has hardly been worn and has no fading of the goldplating! We have given the quartz movement a complete service overhaul (March 2024) we have renewd the crystal (so no scratches) and we have put on a handmade (in the EU) croco strap in the original colour golden brown mounted on the original Cartier folding clasp. Very rare 100% original 12 months warranty Comes with the original box and documentation. The warranty bookled is not available since Cartier took these after the warranty period, during service. Please not that the original red giftbox has a big black stain. Due to the fact that a Cartier Tank Must has a cushionshape crystal, in combination with the black dial; it is very difficult to take pictures with the light reflecting: our apologies for the incovenience.
